The congregation, friends and invited guests gathered together at Clive Vale Community Church on Wednesday 4th September 2024 to give thanks for the completion of the recent refurbishment work and dedicate the building for the worship of God, the sharing of the Gospel, and the building up of the community. The service was led by the Rev Terry Jin the Interim Moderator with contributions from John Ellis, Past Moderator of the General Assembly Joint Leader, Kent & East Sussex Synod Area, Rev Brian Bowyer former Minister, Rev Bob Street Pastoral Committee Convenor for KESSA area and members of the local congregation. 

The service included a choral rendition of the 23 Psalm by Howard Goodall accompanied by Helen Bird.

The congregational hymns were led by Alan Constable on the keyboard.

The service was followed by refreshments and fellowship.
